Wings and Horns Dayton Service boots. The brown leather is oil tanned so it's already somewhat waterproof. I'm going to use the OK Oil when I get my pair.

Why does every boot I like have to be $700 Thanks for the info

If you're looking for snoseal in Vancouver, Skyview Camping in Surrey is ordering some in for me.

Exactly what I've been looking for. I want a boot that's a slight step up from a GT with a natural sole & heel. Where to kop?

I'm in Vancouver and bought mine here for less than $15. They even mailed it to my door for a small fee.

I contacted Viberg about the chukkas Ed09n0ob (bad approximation) has worn in a couple fits and they said it's a 10 piece minimum special order. If I'm spending $500 + on Vibergs, that's probably the only way I'd do it (They didn't give me a price but I assume it's pretty high). For that money, I would be more interested in those (^^^^) if they were another color of leather.

Does anyone know of a waterproof desert boot style shoe? I'm loving my suede desert boots, so I want something similar that will be better in snow and rain for the winter. I'm not looking for a regular boot though, I already have some of those...maybe a leather desert boot with rubber sole?

Some stuff you just need to plop down the cash for. Quality boots are one such item. I got my W+H boots used, but still paid more for them than I'd ever paid for footwear. No regrets. They're fantastic.

I am about to buy some red wings but I can't decide on a stlye, all I know is that I want a soft toe uninsulated. I know most people here like IR or GT but I am not interested in those. I just need a boot that I can wear during the winter or the summer, cold winter that is.
