MoK, my Tricker's Tetbury wingtips have the following written inside:

An elegant and sophisticated look. Where I work even the senior managers walk around with their shirt tails hanging out. Young old fogey perhaps, but to me lazy dress sense = lazy mind! Throw in a dose of lazy communication (e-mail) = modern workplace. P.O.E.T.S. day.

I'm off to the pub.

Bottom line: Silvestro Shoes are highly recommended.

Guys,

Many months ago, Paolo from Silvestro introduced his company to this thread. Impressed by the way he handled questions and by the website (see link below), I ordered a pair"”Goldoni in the 30711 last in Antique 113. My verdict: elegant last, beautiful leather and finish, meticulous workmanship. Excellent service, too. I'm eagerly awaiting two more pair, Machiavelli 2 and Pavese.

On sizing: I recommend consulting the third "male" row (Italian flag) of the chart linked below. I'm a fairly consistent 10½ US, and since most charts convert that size to a 43.5 or 44 Euro, I originally ordered a 44"”which were too big. No problems exchanging, and my new pair of 43 fit perfectly.

Paolo's email and phone are on the website. Feel free to pm me if I'm not responding to thread questions.

(Notes: pictures were taken after wearing them a day and in varied lighting; and I have no relationship with Silvestro...just an average SF dude.)

Best,

ETB

I have a pair of Mezlan shoes like those but they are tanner in color and not so dark. Since they are Mezlan they are not as fancy as those Bally's you have.

Why didn't you finish the polishing job on them?

behave, plain front would just flake off so you dont want to over polish the vamp on shoes like this
