Really nice overall look – and fantastic light on this shot – but I wonder if the tie is perhaps finished a little short*? Preference thing, though, I'm sure. Love that blazer by the way. *Edit: It could be an optical illusion as it's a flat-ended tie, rather than a pointed one?

The photos are so distorted it's difficult to tell exactly how it fits (and buttoning the middle button rather than the top would help). having said that from the back shot it looks like the shoulders are too wide, which whilst sometimes fixable is I believe an expensive and relatively difficult job.

Cheers.

It was the second attempt at getting it the right length, and decided it was close enough

I like the blazer overall, but I keep wishing the buttoning pint was just a little lower.

Love your back drops, they still bring back great memories of my travel to England. I like todays combo, looks good, the tie pops out and the pocket square.

What I keep forgetting to post: You have one of the nicest briefcases I have seen in a long time.
Thanks. Handed down from my grandfather, ca.40 years old.
Perfecty sized to carry a Notebook in it!

Longer jacket makes the uniform look so much better.

Bit of a experiment with the shirt/tie combo? I'm not totally buying it (for me, the green in the tie isn't quite the right shade, I think), but I like the idea.

I'm not loving this as much as everyone else seems to, sorry. The colours are very good and it's "almost there", but I find that tie with this outfit a little too formal in design/material for everything else in the look.

Thanks for the feedback. The flapped breast pocket is not a widespread detail and won't appeal to everyone. Personally, I'm always surprised it garners so much attention; I hardly noticed it when purchasing, and still feel fairly agnostic about it. On balance, I think it's a nice detail to have on a few casual items, though of course not all of them. I'm not sure I understand the question in your second sentence - are you asking if you can put a square in the pocket and so not show the flap? If so, yes you can. I don't, though.

Super look, esp. the suit/tie combo. I think it could do without the underlying cardigan, but still great. Briefcase is stylish, too.

Seriously, it's interesting to see how the illusion of it being a wider tie affected the look. Somehow gave it a slightly more, I don't know, decadent effect, which worked well.

- you might get more replies if you create a separate thread.
- i dont know if it is worth it. it looks like it needs shoulder work, which is pretty pricey, and can go wrong if not done by a good tailor.
- maybe you can just wear it as a beater jacket to run errands and what not?
