Nice colorful shirt. I'd toss the belt though, especially if you went with white chucks.

The striped cardigan makes this, although there's something feminine about it (the cardigan).

You think belt/shoe matching is necessary? I often view brown as a sort of "natural", e.g., brown shoes with whatever.

What's funny is on my way out, I saw this 50 year-old lady wearing a cardigan that was the same colors, just larger stripes and obviously a different fit. It sort of burst my bubble. I really wanted to wear one of our taupe cardigans, but I looked all around for it for like 2 hours and couldn't find it.

Not that they match, but to have no belt at all, well, if the pants fit well enough to not sag. Lately I've been into having the belt match the pants or the shirt, so that there isn't a break between the two.

not a fan of those jeans as they are a bit baggy in the thigh and leg. that's why they were in the back of the closet...

I'm glad the date went well. I really like those birkenstocks. Did you get the waxed or unwaxed?

The jeans have been feeling tighter in the thighs lately...from the squats and bike riding. They look a little tighter too.

Who - I'm waiting on the "no you are just getting fat" comment from you.

The squat has all but ensured I won't ever be comfortably able to size down on a non-APC pair of jeans.
