In iammatt's Rubinacci cord jacket above, you will see quarters as open as I could tolerate...beyond that, a jacket starts becoming a mock cape.

Just to point out what M. is saying, here is a Savile Row jacket with more closed quarters than iammatt's Neapolitan jacket, but you still see the bottom button:

Thanks for the reply. I don't mean completely cover it but at least partially be on top of it.

I dunno, I just thought that's how it should look. The smallness of this TB aside, the amount of space between the button and hole looks like a ton to me yet no one seemed to have a problem with it so I thought I'd ask.

Okay, I was thinking something like this is how it should look.

Thank you.

Whoops, sorry for replying again rather than editing my post but want to throw this in here in case it gets overlooked.

Just realized that I didn't explain myself very well earlier (and in my bump). I said that the buttonhole should overlap the button and that's not what I mean but rather the edge of the jacket should as is illustrated in voxsartoria's post.

Again, thank you gentlemen.

...and get more uncooth responses like the last few...no thanks. I don't need that.

Like I said, last check I was 6.7% using the tool that you grasp in your hands.

^The impedence test is notoriously inaccurate. Calipers or BodPod are the way to go.

John, while I'm at it, I'll pm you a pic of ******...can you tell me if I'm at a higher risk of colo-rectal cancer? Its an amazing confidence and ability you have to be able to make your assessment from 2 pictures.

Cheers!

Is that pic of you Vox? Beautiful jacket and trousers! I think this is one of the best looking ensembles I've ever seen on SF or AAAC. Conservative yet extraordinarily dapper and well fit.

To add to the uncouth chorus, the tool that I grasp in my hands exceeds 6.7.
