I thought it would make for a great conversation starter, but alas...
"Hey there... no pants today? What's up with that?" seems to me a perfectly fine way to start off a conversation.
Well, it certainly seems easier to digest than the sarongs I used to wear. People didn't know what to say. Seriously, what do you say to a co-worker when he turns up in a turquoise sarong?
Depending on the season, "Hey, fancy that! We wore the same damn thing today! Whaddya know?"
