Looking at the cars you like, you should look at a first-gen Miata: they're cheap, reliable, and efficient, though not very practical, but neither are the Z4 and 350Z.

If you want really stylish, get a BMW E30 325i or 318i (3-series before 1991) for less than $5K, and save the rest of the money for car maintenance.

Fine, fine... I'll just spend less on hookers or try my hand at some back alley bargains.

Dood, I live in an area with a similar property to yours:

90 year olds driving 50' motor coaches.

This has mandated me to adopt a certain personal rule very strictly. Never, never, never, never......never....drive a car you can tip over without help!

If you like the styling, then put 10K down on a new Scion Xb and finance the rest. Unbeatable value and interior room. Here in NYC, you can get a fairly loaded model for 20K out the door with tax and dealer charges included. I'm sure that they're cheaper elsewhere.

I'm planning on getting one in the next month or so.

A used Scion xB. 155" long, with more legroom and headroom than most Mercedes. Well made, but strange looking. Probably the smartest design to emerge from any car company in 25 years.

You know, I've considered that. What I'd really love to have is the Smart Roadster BRABUS. So rad.

Alright, this is how my spending will be dispersed:

craig1.jpg

$150 on some rusted ass beater.

cocain.gif

$50 on a bit of coke. You know, just to tide me over between classes.

Aftonbladet%20Granskar-2.jpg

$75 on a quick *******.

frowny-face-150.jpg

$725 because the aforementioned whore stole it from me.

original.jpg

$3000 on an Eliot Spitzer approved girl.

happy-face.gif

$2000 on more coke to get me through a few days. As you can see, quite excited.

nyle291.JPG
prostitute_out_of_work.jpg
hooker.jpg

$1000 on a few cheap hookers during my binge.

asian-shemale-anal.jpg

$500 on a Thai ****** boy plus $200 tip. I, I don't know.

barcelona-chair.jpg

And finally, $2300 on a Ludwig Mies van der Rohe Barcelona Chair so that I can reclaim at least a modicum of dignity.

Not true. I've had several sub-$10k BMWs that were not rough at all. While they were all at least 6 years old, they drove very well and were excellent values for the price. You are likely to get quite a lot more car for your money when buying an older one. You must have a greater aptitude or tolerance for maintenance and repairs.

These are solid cars and fun to drive, but probably not exactly to the OP's liking. I'm selling my E30 325is in a month or two and lamenting the fact that I will not likely match its fun/cost ratio in any future car purchase.

Used Yaris. I love Toyota. Yaris save gas and it's very lovely looking.
