The other day, I saw this while out thrifting:

(I suppose it could be a legit brand, but still...) A few classics:

And who would fake those ugly rubber bands? I'm glad that fad is over.

Japan has tons of those "sounds like" brands... I know nothing about Japanese copyright law, but I suppose it must be a little looser than other places.

For example, I've seen about fifteen different variations of Valentino. The real one is Garavani, of course, but I"ve seen Valentino Cristy, Valentino Sablina (I guess they think that sounds Italian???), Valentino Rossi, Silvio Valentino, Giorgio Valentino, etc etc etc

I've also seen a Salvatore Versace and a few different Cavallis. Most of these are in no danger of disturbing the sanctity of the originals; mostly I see these brands at street-vendors or even at the clothing sections of grocery stores...

I remember in Mexico a lot of sportwear with the name MIKE and an emaciated version of the swoosh.

In Shenzhen I recall seeing an Alfredo Versace as well as a UK Armani Limited... I did have to applaud them for mashing together several brands at the same time, whatever they may be.

Slightly off-topic, but I also remember seeing a shop that simply said "Fat People's Shop." I can't imagine being quite that upfront about a store's purpose in the States...

My favorite are all those Chinese knock-off shops pumping out glued " designer " suits with names that were clearly fished outta their behind:
Bruno Ferrara; Umberto Francesco and so forth

That mark is actually very common in Panama and i am sure i have seeen as well in Costa rica, to point thhe point it is a legitmate brand not a knock off. It is not hat common sout of panama though, at least in my limited expirience
