So I'm looking for feedback on this combination. Also, until I get the three pairs of shoes I've ordered, there will be no need to show what I'm currently wearing to cover up the pigs.

Also, part of the re-tooling process will include PS purchases very soon. This combination screams for one. Thanks in advance gents and apologies for the lack of studio photo quality.

The tie is your biggest problem here. Way too busy, way too light. Dark tie, close to solid..maybe a little pattern, and this would be vastly improved.

I won't argue. Most of my shoes are more of the classic American style that were purchased with the intention of going with my former obsession with Ralph Lauren. With my new move towards Italian stuff, they are lagging behind. Improving this is on the list.

Thanks, HF. I have worn this suit before, in your Nature Challenge to be precise, and the crickets were out in force. If I knew it would be received so well today, I may have saved it for Friday. As is, Friday will see the return of a favorite for what may be the last hurrah of the season.....

Slightly more tapered jeans would be better with the shoes, and they're a bit long - maybe cuffing them would work?

Here's a slightly better overall shot:

Good look, SOS. Does anyone else think the vest should be a bit more form-fitting, though?

The jacket does seem to be more generously cut (calling it baggy would be an exaggeration) than your other suits. Not bad, but if you've got the trim figure, why not take advantage of it? I know I would...

The thrift stores here seem to be overfished lately. That, or the game wardens haven't been restocking the pond. I haven't had a good find in a few months. Oh, good look today.

The subdued palette of your fits requires better photography, Ob5cur1ty. It's hard to get a feel for the subtleties of what you're doing (which I suspect are pretty nice). Outdoor pics, maybe?

Yeah it is a bit fuller but not by much. I'm toying with the idea of having it shaped just a bit. I love a nice slim fit but also like to have the option of fuller cut as well.

Not sure about the tie/ps combo...patterns seem to clash a bit. I might have gone with a solid tie if keeping the ps or a solid ps if going with the tie.

Great stuff. Is that a new suit for you? It's like the cusp of Winter and Spring.

Looks like a blue tie with a navy suit? If so, select a tie with a classic color combination that compliments navy such as burgundy with some other colors in it like blues and whites, maybe gold or tans.

Thanks for the input. As is probably readily apparent based on these pics and pics I've posted in other threads, I wear a solid navy tie with basically everything. I have a few, and love them more than any other ties I own. I've experimented with several different colors and patterns, but this remains my go-to. Just a personal quirk, I guess.

A solid navy tie done really well - I've seen other pics of Agnelli doing solid navy suit/solid navy tie, but can't seem to readily find them. Not comparing myself to the master (obv,) just putting that out there, and obviously totally understand why some people don't like it. Again, it's all personal preference.
