Just received the catalog in the mail from BB. Sale begins on the 26th, like always. However, the savings don't appear to be as steep as they once were... For example, Madison/Regent/Fitzgerald suits are only 30%at $698.60. When I purchased them en masse a couple years back I think they were around $500-600. Disappointing.

The fused made in Thailand sportcoats are going for $278.60 though. Oh joy... Shirts 3 for $160...

Glad I picked a bunch of stuff up during their "7 days" sale... Looks like my wife will make out better at BB this year... Bastards!

Yeah, the 7 Days sale was quite good. Picked up a nice coat at 40% off. I'll probably snag 3 sport shirts for $160 because thats just a damn good price and I love their sport shirts. I guess I'm not all that upset considering I'm all tapped out on purchases.

I'm a bit miffed, my salesman told me the suits would be 40% off plus another 10-15% before noon. Oh well, I really love the two suits I have put away for me.

Chalk me up as another one who was more impressed with the 7 Days of Christmas sale than what it looks like the semi-annual is going to be. After making a few returns and exchanges today from stuff purchased last week during the 7 Days, I was starting to wish I bought a bit more.

I was actually releived that the semi-annual sale was not that good as I have spent too much damn money on their seven-day sale and other items that were in their clearance.

This way I feel like I snagged better deals than the people getting the "common" sales. Plus, a lot of the things I bought are no longer available in my size.

+1................keep in mind their shirts have gone up by $10, so this is as good as it will probably get for long time.

I believe it is 40% off, though I threw away my sale flyer so that I would not be tempted.

I think I am going to be too tempted to pick up a pair of suede longwings, even though I should have gotten them when they were 40% off. I think the Peal & Co will only be 25% off.

I was told 30 + 15% in the morning. BB 1818 suits came to ~ $625 or something thereabouts.

I'm checking out the Toronto store on the 26th and I might pick up a shirt or two, considering I had to put $2200 into my car this month along with auto insurance, I'm not in a spend thrift mood in terms of clothing.

7 days of Christmas sale was really great in hind site. I scored some great gifts for the wife and foolishly passed on presents for myself!

I definitely should have picked up those suede longwings.

The store selection will probably suck. Once you know your size, I would suggest you purchase on-line.

In addition, if you have a friendly salesman/woman at the store, they canorder and hold for you anything that you would like. Then, when the sale starts, you walk in and pick it up.

Anyone know if the suede longwings are made by C&J?
