It's a stolen flower. I took it out of an arrangement my wife bought for the Seder table. Don't tell her. (Ask me on a day when I'm wearing a carnation or a rose, and I'll be able to tell you what kind of flower I'm wearing.)

Anyone ever been able to find a cornflower for sale? I resorted to buying seeds on eBay but don't have much of a green thumb.

I live/work in the Nation's capital, a temperate climate and many men who dress for work every day, yet I have a hard time finding flowers for my buttonhole either conveniently or consistently. There were two florists on my way to work, but they have closed in the last year. I buy from a supermarket in my neighborhood; but they don't sell individual blooms, they restock just once a week, and often their selection of bunches/bouquets is sad for long periods. With warm weather, things are a bit better as flower carts and stalls appear on the downtown streets. Oh, your question was about cornflowers. I never see them.

Thank you. The brief taste of summery weather today helped.

It's pretty astonishing to see them together, which happens from time to time.

Sadly, my wife does not have Ms. Berry's booty.

Almost, though, which is not bad for a white girl who runs marathons.

Liv Tyler/Halle Barry like, deserving of magazine spreads and runs marathons! I'm jealous.

She's running the Boston Marathon for the fourth time in a couple of weeks.

When she finishes, we head straight for a bar and have a few cocktails.
