Thanks and thanks about the blog, too! Edward Green on the 202 last. You reminded me to update the blog too, I have an S90 and a GRD III that have been getting a bit of use but no words yet.
omg. that's the exact two cameras i wanted more information. im tending towards teh grdIII because i like the discreetness and the various features and customizability and the prime lens (i dunno. prime lenses are just so much more fun on a street camera. no need to mess around with zooming in and trying terribly hard to compose the picture), but the s90 control ring sounds so cool. i dont think ive seen a lot of information on the quality of the lenses tho.
Well from my brief few weeks of using both, I currently prefer the S90. I am a huge fan of the GRD II and am still pleased by the GRD III but the S90 just feels so natural in use. It's sort of like the S90 is a classic, headache-free P&S with manual features for when you need them vs the GRD III being a mini DSLR that requires more focus and attention. That's still not a very good analogy but maybe you see what I'm getting at.
