Bah, silk's overrated. Nice in theory, less enthralling in execution.
That's exactly why it is wonderful, impractical like good lingerie.

I actually prefer them to the all wood ones. The all wood ones make the umbrella very thick and look kind of arcane on a younger person. How much do James umbrellas tend to cost if they have a metal shaft? I've been buying lots of grey clothing lately and my bright yellow briggs doesn't look very good with it and I can't think of any umbrella makers besides James that do either a dark green or grey umbrella.
