You can find square bottom knit absolutely everywhere, and at all price points. I'm not sure why anybody here would be interested in another source for these. Point bottom OTOH are rare and I would love to find a decent source.

Sounds great, chorse. Good luck with it, and keep us posted.

Personally, I like both. Point appeals because it's unusual and a bit dressier, and because pointed ends look nice in wider sizes, unlike square. Square, on the other hand, has a casual charm that, until recently, wasn't seen too often.

Well, I most certainly don't work for the ACLU. I don't care nearly enough about civil liberties.

Point bottom knit ties are pointless. Revel in the knittie goodness of the tie, or just get a different tie if you want a point.

I would love to find a knit tie with a pointed bottom but so far have had no luck. I would never wear a square-bottomed version -- just looks weird to me. My wife also hates them.

Kilgour has fantastic ones that appear to me to be made by Drake's:

I also have bunch from Jay Kos that seen to be from the usual set of Italian makers, so I would think that can be specified with the manufacturer.

I like the Drake's-sourced knits the best.

Agree. It is like putting a spoiler on your truck.

I like grenadines. Kittens, not so much.
