1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

Super cool, thanks for sharing the process, Zam!

Out of curiosity (and this is obviously a very nebulous question without a definitive answer), what sort of prices would we be looking at if we wanted something custom? Let's say a pair of pants... if we just wanted a custom fabric but with an existing pattern, or perhaps a pattern that's slightly altered (say, shorter leg or tightened hem), or even a wholly bespoke pair? And of course, I'm sure this is very dependent on you sourcing the materials/cost of materials and the design cost, but some sort of ballpark/minimums would be interesting to know.

The price of custom orders depend on many factors but its not as expensive as some people think

for example: A custom pair of pants, say from an existing pattern, might be the same as, or even less expensive than a pair of pants from our webstore. the reason is, if the fabric is less expensive than the one used for production then the price reflects that. if the fabric is more, it will be more.
there is a sometimes a slight surcharge for a custom order, but that depends on what the item is, what time of year and whether we have to source the fabric to produce it.

Custom orders where we have to make a new pattern and design a new item will always be more costly, but the price of that is dependent on the fabrics, the style and other factors involved in the process

I just realized your ZFactorie link links you to FB and not your webshop...

As I said before I'm really digging your recent work. This current one is by far my favourite. The occam's jacket is killer and I will get it when I emerge from my financial ruins. I pretty much only wear CDiem, CDiem family, and Devoa, and your stuff fits in beautifully. Keep the good work up, Zambino!

Got my Minimalist heavy DNA pants today. Pleasantly surprised - the cut is much straighter than my other other Zam B pants meaning that it's much easier to get my legs through. Great texture, I don't know how it'll change with wear.

As an aside, I wore Minalist wool pants to a long weekend in Shanghai last week, looked great but a few gaps developed in the right side inseam. Luckily they were quite high up and not so obvious. I'll do a repair job later.

Glad to know you receive them and you are happy with the pants

however lets clarify a few things for you

First pants was MINIMALIST DNA, spiral seams , the wool one. I hope the issue was not bad, we usually dont have these problems. however if its the seams it should be easy to address

Pants you just got is MINIMALIST SLIM PANTS in heavy linen. SS17 Version there is no side seam so less possibility of breakage.

Glad to know you are enjoying them

    bless
    ZB

Got the Ridge Seam DNA pants and the Heavy Linen work shirt in a couple days ago, haven't worn anything else since! Zam continues to kill it, his shirting is definitely not standard but it works for me. However his pants are some of the best I've ever worn, and in the past couple months I've gone from one pair to 5. Probably going to phase out most of my other pants and keep building my collection from Zam. I was wary of how twisted some of the pants are at first but there is seriously a cut in there for everyone.

Also I wanted to comment on some peoples issues with Zam in the past. Some times it takes a few days for his team to get stuff shipped, but thats cause he has a very small team, and Zam is always traveling to different shows and showings. If you give him a chance he will always come through, giving 100%.

    Thanks again Zam!

that pants is built like a tank and with the stretch fabric is very comfortable. on Thursday I was "twinning" with you. I make a lot of products that I never own and wear, but that work shirt is amazing.........

the mailing list is linked to another system we use to create the news letters and articles. we will simply link the new store system to the newsletter system so all things remain as they are now
