To me, this is the bottom line. Jeffries is, first and foremost, a salesman. If he thought he could make more money by playing classical music in his stores or by saying things like, "we only want to sell to the straight A student. We produce clothing for the future world leaders of our society. All the C students can shop at J Crew or Banana Republic - average clothes for average people," then he'd do it.

I don't like A&F and think their marketing tactics are offensive, but there's no denying they've found something that works pretty well.

Frankly, more's the pity.

The majority of washhouses have one or two extremely talented technicians who can create product like this all day long. The problem's arise on the production line when your amazing sample is handed off to 10 or 15 employees making $10 ph that have 10% of the sample technicians skill.

I'm guessing that A & F are using a half dozen skilled craftsmen for the hand sand and distress applications who are spending around 20 minutes perfecting each garment.

FOK's on the money, the wash is a $20/25 bucker fo sho!.

I wouldn't be surprised if it's my buddy's wash house in LA. He's done a lot of Abercrombie work in the past. I pinged him to find out for sure, but he's flying around the world now so he's somewhat difficult to get a hold of. I'll let you know.

I dont care what any one says and I dont care what the wash house the jeans where washed in if I was Don Juan I would be sticking my foot up someones ass that is the biggest PRPS knock off I have seen to date and I find it really screwed up that a company like A&F with the big ass budget that they have cant find some creativity on there own.

I can't see the difference between the limited edition and its cheaper brother. They both look the same to me--crappy. Oh well, there's a sucker born every minute.
