I did read a thread about one or 2 of you not liking this brand- I saw these and thought they were super fun. What do you guys think??

I am going to need to get an "extra" hole in the monk strap so they fit better, they were on sale too

Thanks

nice, but getting an extra hole done on them is usually not a good idea. unless you have foot anatomy that's quite different from the norm (in this case, a "lowered" flatter on top foot?), one of the usual allotted number of holes should accomodate you. otherwise, it's probably a wrong size.

Okay thanks for that... I can manage them as is- just thought it would be better with another hole.

I also got a pair of Bruno Magli ankle boots and prada suede sneakers- just didnt know if these would fit my more casual style. Do these work with jeans?

I'm not a fan of the styling on those personally, but they look decently made from what little I can see. I don't like the short vamp split toe thing myself. Too hooflike or something.

Glue on the inside doesn't indicate much, but look down into the inside under the toe and check for stitching.

some may not condone it, but i can advise getting something you like , bringing it back take photos, ask us about it, and then decide to keep or not.

i would love to see the soles on that shoe. is it channeled? (no stitching visible).

give it a good shine on the toe and heel. it gives it a deeper depth . nice shoes, hope you enjoy them!

i have a soft spot for algonquin/split-toe designs of that type. here is a santoni i used to own:

i never seen that on a monk before though.
