They are kinda pointy for me but I like them just the same. They have a young, modern look about them mixed with a classic double monk.

I have a double monk JL black William that I am wearing today with jeans, and a black cashmere, zip neck sweater. This weekend I will wear then with a trim fit, dark navy suit, white shirt and no tie for a party. Double monks are perfect for dressing up and casual dress. I am looking forward to ordering a double monk in a brown suede.

I've seen bottis at Neiman SF, I thought they looked good. Not for MSRP of course, but on par with those other mid-level "fatte a mano" brands.

A bit strange answering to such an old thread, but I was talking about Botti some days ago and I never could imagine those double monks were from Boggi.
Is not a popular brand, but the ones I'm used to see have a more conservative look, more than many other italian brands:
