kinowear dude. kinowear.

And how about instead of trying to pretend you're a surfing rockstar hippy stoner, ya go out and learn to play an instrument (chicks dig guitar, but acutally learn to play it, not just songs), pick up surfing (best move i've ever made), smoke some tree, and help to end world hunger or poverty. Maybe at the end of the day after shooting down AMOGS and using every neg in the book, you'll feel good about yourself knowing you're not just another poser.

Many of the people on this forum have to suck each other off because they can't get a women to do it, hence they repeat the same criticism while generally spending obscene amounts on the same brands (admittedly this does not apply to many of the posters on styleforum but it applies frequently)

On topic:

The Necklaces look cheap, which they probably are, which is not good. The bracelet is fine but rather overdone. The rings look fine and are less worn, even by guys going for the same look as you. I'd buy one or two of the less costumey rings and save up a bit for a nicer bracelet and necklace.

You probably should be nicer considering you're new and want people to be nice to you, no? PS: Subcomandante Marcos is the new Che Guevara... and Che isn't depicted as brutal because "the man" he is a murderer and even if he made a somewhat positive impact in Latin America, that's the fact of the matter.

I agree that you shouldn't wear things that aren't congruent with your own beliefs, personality etc. which is why some of the items have been specifically chosen.. The skulls are a memento mori, the celtic jewelery relates to my ancestry etc. others I just like the look of (e.g rose ring) ? Is that a problem?? I'm pretty sure you didn't buy every item in your wardrobe because it has some strict sentimental value attached to it.. in fact, you probably buy things with the contrived intention of not making yourself stand out, which is equally as try-hard.

By the way, go *************.

Actually a pretty good response.
Here is my answer to your question. First find a new style. Honestly I am not a fan of the one you are trying to project. But if you in fact like it then more power to you. Pick a rock star/ sub group you like. Look to them for inspiration. Just as people on these boards look to Old L.L.Bean catalogs or Mad Men, find a look you like and figure out the roots of it. It always helps if there is something genuine in your attraction otherwise you will always look a poseur.

There's a Paul Frank T-shirt I saw the other day that said "My Other T-Shirt Has a Skull On It".

I almost bought it.

Here is your problem. This is not a coherent image. Style can either evolve naturally, or it can be created, but that requires some coherent theme to work from. I just don't see that here.

Sad but true: a leather cuff I bought for $15 has probably gotten more compliments than everything else I wear combined.

Read that either as a comment on the effectiveness of meaningless accessories, or the mediocrity of my wardrobe.

Well, let me tell you a bit about myself. I play guitar in a band, I record my own acoustic material, I sometimes smoke weed, I surf when weather permits and partake in many other sports such as bodybuilding, football and basketball, I am fascinated by international politics and the social struggle around the globe, and often contribute to various charities.

And LOL at you using PUA terminology.

Thanks for the feedback. If you could give me examples of the bracelets/necklaces you think would be better alternatives, that would be great.

I think to label him as a murderer is incorrect. There would have been more murders and further imprisonment, brutalization and exploitation of the Cuban people at the hands of Batista's regime if it was not for his actions. Life expectancy after the revolution alone had risen 20 years from what it was before the revolution. If it were not for his actions, when you compare Cuba to other country's in its region - (of which Cuba outperforms them in all key indicies of civilization) - such as the sink of misery, mass hunger, mass homelessness, disease, and a total sea of emiciration that is Haiti - a place which lost the fight against fascist oppression and US prostitution - Cuba would fit the description of the aforementioned.

And yes, I am glad the Zapatista's are gaining more and more publicity, but unlike Che & Castro, they not revolutionaries, but reformists "Reforma, Libertad, Justicia". This transitional socialism could possibly be more effective, only time will tell.

Pr3z, this is just not your day! I could not in good conscience, recommend any of the accessories you pictured in the OP, regardless of your age. Quite honestly, from your post, I can't figure out whether you are a fatalist or perhaps a (wanna-be) revolutionary.

Take a two minute browse of the forum; do you see anyone asking advice about accessories so ugly Marc Jacobs wouldn't wear them? I mean some people here have no taste and may not be surfers/rockstars/hippie/stoner's but sht, ugly leather cuffs, hot topic rings and surfer necklaces?

Big L sums it up for me "your mother should of swallowed you"
