thanks, so we're at full discount for suits right now? i guess i'll just bite the bullet, hope it stacks with the corporate card.
They never stack the corporate cards. I dont get why! I mean seriously...

"Your Corporate Membership savings of 15% has been applied to all regular and everyday value priced merchandise. " Nothing happened, the card does specifically say Regular priced.

Anyone have firsthand experience with the Cambridge suits (or jackets)?
I'd like to know if the sleeves and jacket length are BBBF short. . .

The Japanese site has actual garment measurements. Cambridge fit looks to be the same as Fitzgerald in the shoulders and sleeves, but half an inch shorter in overall length. So, yes, it's shorter, but not stupidly short like the Black Fleece stuff.

Granted, even Fitzgerald fit is about half an inch shorter than my ideal jacket length, but if it works for you...

It fits very much like a fitzgerald. The sleeves are indeed about .5 inches shorter which may save you a trip to a tailor. Okay cut overall, I think BB never has high enough arm holes.

Thanks for this tip! I've wanted to know the official measurements of several sport coats for some time.

Not interested in buying a BB suit for $700 then. Might have been tolerable with the discount applied.

If you are buying two suits, buy them during the next corporate discount sale (2 for $1120). If you are buying one suit, buy it on December 26th (last year as 30% off plus an additional 20% off).

Am interested in these shoes:

http://www.brooksbrothers.com/IWCat...lor=BLACK&sort_by=&sectioncolor=&sectionsize=

If I'm an 8d in Alden Barrie and Van lasts, but the owner at Leffot measured me at 8.5 as a standard size, what size should I order? These would be my first C&J shoes. Does anyone know for sure if these are made by C&J? Or are all Peal & Co. made by C&J? Is the tan/brown color in the pic pretty true, or is it lighter than the real shoe?

Thanks in advance.

I think I may have seen them in person, but I think the pictures are right. They are more conservative than say the 348 last.

Does the 348 last in C&J fit similar to the 240? I got a 9.5 c (narrow) and they fit really good, but I was hoping for something slightly sleeker..

Thank you both very much for this.
What about the pants, are they (the 'fashionable') super-low rise and slim or more of a traditional (regular) cut?

The Q&A says that they are C&J. Not all English made Peal & Cos are C&J. They could be Alfred Sargent or Loake.

Sorry I don't have any experience with the 240 last.

Check out the C&J appreciation thread. There are tons of posts on sizing the 348 last in that thread. I've also had good luck googling things like this to zero in on the right posts. I have no personal experience with the 348 last, but believe it runs long.

no it is not...348 is sleek/chiseled look, where 240 is more rounded and conservative

Can't help you on the pants as I've only had sportcoats. If you need a jacket slightly more fitted than the Fitzgerald then I recommend the Regent. It has better suppression. The Regent pants are a slightly more relaxed than the Fitz, which is a fit paradox. Both have acceptably high rises for office comfort.

Noob question =

I got my classic bucks in white yesterday and wore them today. No Problems but the shoes seem to crease quite a bit from walking. Should I be using shoe trees for bucks also, as that
would help keep its shape.

Or are shoe trees just for leather dress shoes that are lace up's.

Thanks
