Never knew they offered that many for that price. During the F&F sale, the shirts come out to be around the same price, so you can probably pick some up then for just a little bit more.

During the last semi-annual sale, shirts were buy 4, get 40% off, which worked out to about $210 for four shirts. I assume you will see something similar during the upcoming after Father's Day sale.

Yes, for some of the sales you can get 25% off the two for $230 pricing, which works out to about $172 for two pairs of gabardines. Not sure if Friends and Family will allow 25% off the Brooks Buy pricing or not, but the recent corporate incentive sale did.

I'm thinking of picking up a Brooks Brothers suit at the upcoming F&F sale. How would you guys say BB suit quality is at 25% off? I've tried on the Fitzgerald fit, and it fits me pretty well. I'm not too well versed in suit "quality," though, so any opinions would be appreciated.

As a newbie myself, it seems that the consensus on this board is that BB suits are worth buying ONLY if you get it during a sale for a reduced rate. The quality is apparently good, but not worth the $900 regular price. I'm planning on getting a BB suit also, but might wait until the semi-annual sale.*

*Not to hijack your post, but any chance that the semi-annual sale will occur before mid-August. I have a wedding to go to and need a suit for that, and plan on getting my first proper suit. Thanks.

Plenty of suits on B&S from the clearance centers, will be a lot cheaper than clearance centers

I am looking at the black fleece C&J dark brown loafer, but even with the F&F 25% off it will still ring about $420, which I think it makes more sense just up my game and buy the RL Marlow penny.

Hey stevent, unfortunately, the suit and size that I need (plain navy, 38S) is one that's not often discounted / found on B&S. If I had a bit more flexibility (ugly pinstripe suit in a size 46L), I'm sure that I could find a killer deal somewhere. But I think that for my purposes, 25% off is the best that I'm going to be getting.

Good value for the money if you pick it up for $500 - $600 on sale.
