So I have been on the endless search for the definitive slim cut pant/chino. After trying the cheaper alternative J Crew Essential Slim and the Uniqlo Slim Chino, I have came to the conclusion that the Incotex are probably gonna be the best bet but when are they gonna be onsale again?? I didnt pick any up last time SF was flooded with them and now I am kicking myself.

On another note, are incotex all cut the same or are there slimmer and different cuts?

Never.

Seriously, It was a one time thing. They appear every now and then but it is unlikely that it will happen again. But it might.

Prob. a 34 but I have tried 34 in different fabric and some fit different so I would say 34 pending actual measurment.

Important lesson:

NEVER SETTLE

You think to yourself: Let me buy some cheap alternative to the expensive one, hoping the fit and look will be as good. Invariably you end up disspointed.

You won't find the crazy deal on Incotex as offered here on SF a while back. You can get good deals on Ebay though, and size 34 appears relatively frequently.

Incotex are not cut the same. The made for Europe ones are cut trimmer than the made for U.S. ones. You can tell the difference, because of the sizing (i.e. Euro 50 vs. U.S. 34). I have a few NWT pairs in these sizes, which should fit you. PM if you are interested, and I can give you the details.

i think incos are all over the place depending on style/model. Even U.S. sized incos, and not even slim fits can be a touch tight in the waste. Other styles, even though slim in the leg can be generous in the waist. It really all depends. But Euro sized will be slimmer than U.S. sized, for sure...usually.

That's for the cotton pants w/ slight flaws. Otherwise, it's $19.99 for cotton and $49.99 (or something like that) for wool.

To respond to the OP's question: never.

So are incotex popular because they are slim cut? I am height/weight proportional, but have large thighs. Looking for some pants which would be a good fit (and I don't particularly care for pleats).

Like said above they are different depending on which ones you get, some are slim some are not, and the quality in my experience has been top notch, plus they came on here marked down from $400+ to $19.99 plus and people were buying 20-30 pairs keeping some and reselling others, there seems to be still afew pairs floating around on here, they all came from Daffys
