I enjoy the ALD 11oz Novelty jeans, and you can't get much further from the SuFu fit than that...

jcrew's "Vintage slim-fit garment-dyed jean" are pretty damn thin. I've had my eye on uniqlo's lightweight jeans to.

SugarCane's new 12oz 1947 cut is great - fit is very similar to LVC 1947 501 with a slightly lower rise. No one offers it in the US, but I think I wound up paying right at $210 from Hinoya through Rakuten (incl. international shipping) - between 10 days to 2 weeks from when I first placed the order to its arrival.

Wear the same jeans you wore the other part of the year. 3 OZ less is not going to make that much of a difference. Summer specific jeans are a waste of money. Buy some other **** instead.

What makes the Crate routes such a good summer jean? Is the material light or just loosely woven? I've found a pic only on Farinelli's where they are super-sloppy... guess that's not the normal fit, right?
