What is the best summer denim?

SugarCane's new 12oz 1947 cut is great - fit is very similar to LVC 1947 501 with a slightly lower rise. No one offers it in the US, but I think I wound up paying right at $210 from Hinoya through Rakuten (incl. international shipping) - between 10 days to 2 weeks from when I first placed the order to its arrival.

I have a pair of Earnest Sewn Hutch's, I think #168. Really fine weave, soft and buttery, and surprisingly with a lot of poly. These are the only really slim jeans I've worn that I would dare wear in a Georgia summer.

Wear the same jeans you wore the other part of the year. 3 OZ less is not going to make that much of a difference. Summer specific jeans are a waste of money. Buy some other **** instead.

You could also try the MFxSC collaborations. They are pretty lightweight. Very nice for summer. I have this pair.
