What happens to failed MTM or bespoke suits/jackets?

What happens to suits and jackets that are bespoke or MTM that turn out too bad to wear? (Because those people probably should have asked for advice before they chose the details or tailors/retailers.) Suit pants are used if they fit okay? And the rest is re-sold or what?

Sent for recycling, like most other unsold and end of line and out of season and reject apparel.

If they turned out 'bad' because of the original specifications then surely the customer would be honour-bound to accept them, no?

My tailor sells MTM and bespoke stuff that has never been collected, in fact my favourite suit was one made for someone else and then altered for me.

This is assuming the customer originally accepts them.

Doubtless they find their way into retail one way or another.
