...polo shirts from Ralph Lauren, but doing your first and second initials monogrammed in script, in the same color of the shirt. I really like the RL custom fit polos but do not want the logos anymore. Everyone seems to be pretty much against monograms here, but I think this could be tasteful, no? try it out and get back to me: http://www.ralphlauren.com/product/i...entPage=family Classy or tasteless?

I dont mind monograms. I would have my initials on the bottom right part of the shirt rather than the chest. I also dont see the big deal with the little horse being on the shirt. Just like some get obsessed about showing the name brand, some people get obsessed with not showing it. A little logo isnt flashy to me. It gets out of hand when the name is written or the logo is gigantic.

Thats pretty bad. Like I said, there is nothing wrong with a small logo. I actually like the little horse. I dont like it because it RL Polo (I mean its RL Polo... who gives a ****?) its because its a small detail that looks good on the shirt and breaks up an other wise plain shirt. I guess some people are so afraid of being judged because they have a logo on their shirt that they only buy clothing where the logo is hidden. It is a small detail! Get over it! You should be able to tell the difference between when someone is just trying to broadcast the name of what he is wearing and when he isnt.

I'd rather have a small logo than a monogram, even though I hate both.

Don't do it, not wanting a logo is understandable, I was pretty ambivalent towards them for a while, but replacing the logo with your initials seems pretty bad to me, "worse" than having a logo.
