And even better is to buy 4 (clicking on Amazon as the seller, @ $6.94/glass), since you're only charged for 3, plus free standard shipping. Comes out to $20.82 for 4 glasses.

Point 1: I've never enjoyed a cocktail based with pineapple juice -- happy to accept reccomendations.

Point 2: Thanks for the Glencairn link. Needed a few more.

Point 3: Negroni, Louis Latour white burg, Death in the Afternoon

I can't even think of that many cocktails made with pineapple juice, but I make Melon Balls for my lady often, as she likes them and it works on that bottle of Midori that always seems like it's gonna be there on the shelf, 7/8'ths full, for 100 more years.

You don't like Pina colada? How about trying out Swimming Pool, then? I like it better.
Others: Mai Tai, Midori Melonball (with pineapple or pineapple-orange mix) is not bad either.

Right now, I'm enjoying a Cuba Libre (3/4 lime, about 5-6cl Havana 3 and 10-12cl Coca Cola).

Well, the Pina Colada has been debased a little by time and other horrors -- I admit it has potential, but I haven't attacked it yet. The Swimming Pool really is not the kind of drink I drink, but thanks for suggesting it.

I actually know of quite a few -- though the Algonquin and the Park Avenue are the only two that occur to me at present. It just doesn't ever work for me. Maybe if I used fresh pineapple juice it would be better? And yes, the melon ball. It is a classic in its own right, and part of my personal cocktail odyssey. My bottle of Midori has been around for....well quite some time as well! ~ H

Coupla' Negronis before dinner... followed by a 2005 Puygueraud during. Now home on the back deck and drinking two left-over cans of Stella with an Amurican Spirit full force.

Not the kind of drink? It's kinda Pina Colada with a hint of orange. And some colour.

old college friend got his cocktail reviewed on cocktailvirgin. I don't remember him drinking much alcohol let alone making cocktails when I knew him back in uni.

Yeah, well, to be honest, I can't take any drink containing blue curacao even remotely seriously. I find it ridiculous. I wish I could eliminate all colorants from spirits.

I have this cocktail in my head but can remember neither the proportions nor the name, could someone help me out if they're up to it?

All I remember is vodka at the bottom of a cocktail glass, and then layered champagne with a lillet float and a generous twist of orange. Does this sound familiar to anyone?

There's also something delicious involving champagne, lillet, and maraschino that's slipping my mind...

Huntsman: Then replace the blue curaçao with triple sec. So you've still got the extra hint of orange but no colour. White/yellow swimming pool.
