I don’t know what took me so long, but thanks @shopcanoeclub for the help with my first Lady White tee!

I think you said you’re in Dakar - are you from Ghana?
Anyone remember @niidawg? He was from Akra IIRC. He was a good poster (daily pics from the parking garage!) another sad loss from this board.
Yes, I'm in Dakar. And no, I'm from Cameroon :)
I just like playing with fabrics from different African countries :)

It's an overcast, warm and humid day today in NYC, with threat of rain by the evening, and I'm meeting a former colleague for lunch local to my apartment, so something casual was called for.

I've not worn today's shoes in much too long, so today's attire was built around them, more or less, with the inclusion of some silly socks.

Shirt & trousers - Brooks Brothers
Shoes & cap - Paul Stuart
Face mask - New & Lingwood

He moved over to Instagram. Not many fitpics, but every now and again...

Oh well - progress I suppose.
Maybe I’m just an old dawg but I find it sad that message board communities seem to one by one get eaten up by Facebook, Instagram or whatever. I can’t be arsed to be following all these Individuals. I prefer them all to be collected in one place - such as here!

That looks pretty good, particularly the suit (who's it by?).

A suggestion that came to mind, to make it even more casual: Same suit, but with a camel roll neck (lighter than the dark green, for more contrast). Suede shoes or chukkas, something from tobacco to dark brown, but definitely noticeable darker than the camel knit, no PS and keep the coat open - would be interested to see how that would work (if at all...).

All right then!
