Thank you! Field jacket is an m65 passed down from my uncle. Chore coat is from blue blue japan via nomanwalksalone with @conceptual 4est 's sizing help.

I don't mind ties and jeans in theory, although I don't find they work for me personally. I prefer coherent fits, and ties (with jeans) already call attention to themselves, but shiny ties with bright patterns paired with loose faded jeans are just too incoherent for my tastes. Nothing wrong with a "point of distinction" (that's what my shearling collar is, too), but I'd love to see some attempt at integrating it. Try solid knit ties and tidier jeans.
