This is a good question that comes up a lot, I'll have a swap around with some of my pairs and let everyone know if they fit.

Hello,
I have a pair of Vintage B&L Ray Bans and they are also stamped "Lynwood". I think it might be the name of the frame, but I can not find any information on the "lynwood" name in reference to Ray Ban. Do you have any information on these? Thanks,
Jenna

I believe these are B&L Ray Ban "Shooters" glasses. Usually came with 62mm Kalichrome lenses. The nose pieces attach to the frame closer to the bottom than regular sunglasses...which makes shooters ride high on the face. They were designed for water fowl hunters and skeet shooters who look skyward when firing.

What do you think a good asking price would be? The ear pieces are too long for me and they slide way down my nose.

If you're looking for black it's the RB2140 901.

W0365 Clubmasters were fist made in 1986. Only the 49mm version was made, with the W1114-1117 series being the "Clubmaster II", or the 51mm size.

If your clubmasters were made with the olympic G-15 golden sticker, then your clubmasters were made between roughly 1995-1997. If yours only have the circular rayban sticker, it was made in the 80s.

Also, which case do you have? If you have the "envelope" style case it's an older release.

I have a pair of these from the late eighties and only wish I had looked after them better although I still wear them and find the lenses to be superb.
If only we knew then what we know now eh?
