Here is a beautiful pair of NOS 7 eyelet Florsheim Penfields, once a perennial member of Florsheim’s lineup. These examples predate the total cheapening of the Blue Label shoes, so they have quality leather linings (versus the cheap bonded linings of my examples, which disintegrated). If these were 13c’s (or even a b) I’d buy ‘em, but they’re too narrow at a 13a. Hopefully someone here can manage a 13a:

We went through a hot spell, so I was in sandals for a few days.

Weekend forecast of course, is cooler temps and rain.

Thought I'd try to bring some sunshine with this solar powered piece and Golden Harvests.

No dice. Rainy all morning.

Martin Sugg rebuilt these with JR soles and toe taps. This pair was a custom order of 9eee but thankfully fit closer to 8.5eee.

The watch is supposed to be accurate within 1 second for 10,000 years. As long as the radio towers keep pinging.

While I thoroughly approve of your Golden Harvests, I must strongly protest this business with sandals. Counselor, how could you show up for court in sandals? I’m very disappointed.

Well, at least you probably weren’t late, what with your atomic clock synchronized super-watch.

Practically new vintage Loakes! And I found the #161 in Lawson Hill's Fall 1977 catalog.

Water bison. Worn 2 or 3 times max. And in impeccable condition - just a tiny scuff on one toe. They only need some conditioning, and they'll be good to go.

I'm kind of gobsmacked. I've wanted a pair like this for a really long time.

Edit to add: I also got those shoe trees in the background of the first photo. I just noticed they say they were made in Yugoslavia. 🤣

These look great. What a nice textured leather! A pity they don't make such shoes any longer.

Those are very nice, but if they are the circa 2014’ish (511 last) Dundee, then I’m afraid we’ll have to cite you for an undeclared vintage violation.
They are probably newer than that. I accept whatever price punishment this group deems necessary. But I will wear them as an act of civil disobedience. Non-vintage shell Chukkas… united… will never be divided!

You are cursed to always desire every excellent pair you see, and also to own more shoes than is reasonable for any one person to have.

So I guess nothing's changed?

Wait a minute… “price punishment”?!?! We are pricing punishments around here now? Maybe we can relax the rules?
