I was looking at a pair of service boots in Loden Janus Calf Suede and see quite a lot of variation in terms of color. I'm wondering if it's the photography or the leather itself. My understanding is that loden is typically a green/brown mix.

Here's an image taken from Viberg's own site:

Vs. this image from Blue Owl, which just looks straight up green:

Withered Fig's version is closer to Viberg's own photo:

As far as I can tell, these are all the same suede, as least going by name. Are there large variations between runs? If not, whose photography most closely matches the actual color?

Everyone trying to figure out whether the boots will be too green:

That Marrone Sego horsebutt looks so damn good on the 2040. I'm caught debating between the whiskey regency calf 2040 and the marrone sego 2040. I think I like the marrone sego leather more but the whiskey regency has a captoe on the 2040, which along with a commando sole is intriguing. Help me decide!

Also, do people really size 1.5 down from bannock for the 240 last on Pachena Bay's? That's vibergs advice on the site and just wanted to make sure...

Such a strong run this year for 2040. I hope they keep it going.

I vote horsebutt.
