Only if they use clamps and dont cut them. In which case there is a chance it could fail.

Just get send your seamen off to a cryo lab and be done with it. I dont see why anyone wanting kids wouldn't get a vasectomy eventually.

it's fine. hurt for a few weeks after but less than more kids would hurt. but you worrying about this is like a lesbian worrying about the legality of abortion.

And maybe, just in general, what are thoughts about young men getting a vasectomy?

yes, this was inspired by Eason's thread.

Obviously depends on the plan but I'd budget around $500.

Well obviously, but it is a matter that you would probably feel differently about later on in your life.

I don't think so. No. But it is not an end-all. There are many options down the road that are noted earlier in this thread.

There is one option, which doesn't work 100% of the time. Based on the risk and benefits, I wouldn't consider it. I don't have kids and I don't want to, but one of my philosophies for my life is to aim for flexibility, because things always change.

No, getting your sperm frozen works 100% of the time. You just have to keep up with the monthly costs of keeping it frozen.

That's if it was covered by your insurance. Out of pocket? Between 2.5k and 4k probably including followups, etc..
