I actually just snagged the navy today. That was my thought as well. Imagine it would a really neat tweedy looking summer jacket.

Picked up that glen check (and the navy glen check). Can’t wait to see it.

What other Dugdale ties did you order out of curiosity? I went navy and plum on the pre order.

Just the glen plaids on the pre-order, and the navy. A solid trio, I'd say. Post a pic when you wear the plum. That may push a 4th my way, assuming it isn't snatched up by then.

I wore it last week but forgot to take a picture. Might be a bit before a further wear. That being said, I can wholeheartedly recommend it to you. It's really a perfect shade and nice way to get some color in this season without being overly bright. You won't regret picking it up, especially since there's only one remaining.

I wasn’t happy with my tie selection today and remembered this post. Do you guys think the brown one above is something that’ll work with this? It’s actually a suit, but wearing with light gray flannels today.

What width do you recommend for me, I'm 5' 6" 130lbs and enjoy moderate to wider lapels. Almost all my ties are made 3 1/8 but now I'm starting to have some doubt whether that looks best.

I’m the same height/weight. All my Vanda ties are 3.5” x 53”. I think 3.25” – 3.5” is ideal. I think most of my lapels are the same.

I think the brown linen tie would pair quite nicely with the blue jacket you’re wearing.

And yes, @macjedi - I think the either of the brown ties (well, one is mustardy) would pair better with your suit. The knit tie you have on is lovely, but it's a little too deep/autumnal looking for that brighter coloured suit.

Thanks Gerald & @CLTesquire ! I got the email last night and ordered the brown tie straight away! I’ve got a few other suits that will benefit from this addition as well. Cheers!

Dove Grey hopsack (have had my eye on this but havent seen it on anyone)
Navy camdeboo (I love navy ties and want to know whats more special about this one)
Burgandy cream double bar shantung (these next two are just great)
Green white dot shantung grenadine

If I could only pick two, probably Navy Camdeboo Mohair for how interesting and rare it is, and Burg-Cream Double Bar Shantung for a real classic summer stripe.
