Dear SF ladies and Gentlemen,
There appears to be very little “specification” information associated with shoes from the major names; while you can feel the difference between a well-constructed shoe, what elements of construction constitute this?
Does anyone fancy having a stab at updating the list to include current ranges?
Crockett & Jones (Main collection, Hand grade); Cheaney (Classic, Imperial); Edward Green; Alfred Sargent (Exclusive, Hand grade); Loake (1880); Grenson (G:Zero, G:One); Barker (Handcrafted, Anniversary); Church’s (Classic)
I’m getting into shoes in a big way and want to make informed choices as I build my collection.
Obviously, I’m keen to hear from people who own shoes in these ranges and how you would rank them.
Thanks in advance.
