I'm thinking of getting a summer jacket in cream, or possibly light beige/tan, maybe in some wool/silk/linen blend which has a bit of texture. What are some good bunches to look into? Quick searches through the thread seem to suggest Caccioppoli and Loro Piana?

As a side question, how does wool/silk/cotton compare to wool/silk/linen? I came across this Orazio jacket, I think the color looks nice, but noticed that cotton is the dominant material in this blend.

Hey I was in the same position as you are in about a month ago.

I looked into these bunches/collections:
Loro Piana 'Mare' (From this collection, I picked a cloth in silk/linen. Worn here: )
Loro Piana 'Proposte Giacche' (From this collection, I picked N763033 to make into a casual jacket and N763001 to make into a tailored jacket)
Drapers 'Golden Selection'
Caccioppoli 'Jackets'
Piacenza 'Alashan Breeze'
Piacenza 'Summer Verve'

Coincidentally, I also own an Orazio Luciano jacket in wool/silk/cotton (worn here: ), though in a different color. I don't wear it very often because of its rather shouty colors. I also find it less breathable than my other wool/silk/linen jackets, but considering that fibre composition may vary across fabrics, I cannot say this will be the case for all comparisons.

I was literally just thinking about this today: a bespoke trenchcoat. What fabric did you use? Is it the Loro piana? Who made your trench?

I was thinking a raglan ulster in a raincoat fabric with epaulettes added. Maybe a gun flap but I’m not sure it’s necessary. It’d still have the same functionality and affect as a trench.

My trench, imo, doesn’t fit like I’d like, which is why I was thinking about it.

That jacket you had made with the LP Mare fabric looks really good. I'll take a look at the other bunches too.

I had some fabric pages on the LP textile website bookmarked, but somehow now they keep redirecting me to the home page of LP textile and I couldn't figure out how to browse the fabric again. Caccioppoli seems to have some nice colors too in their Jacket bunch.

I’ll second the Standeven Explorer option, in the heavier, 310 g weight. Recently made a navy suit from this bunch, and I’m really enjoying it. Really crisp and does not wrinkle.

I’ve been thinking about a bespoke trench because my rlpl trench never really fit right (it could be that I am nitpicking and my own biggest critic). My thought was a waterproof fabric raglan. Either belted or with a martingale half belt in the back and inverted pleat. Maybe double breasted / notch (ulster) lapels. I guess that’s a waterproof raglan polo.
