I have seen only one in-person, and the quality was excellent. None of the designs are to my liking.

Saw yfyf last month in a Dashing Tweeds suit and thought it was great - not one of the craziest patterns so it worked. That said, the second I saw it, I knew it was DT

Just got back from London, and didn't have a chance to stop by the DT showroom, but saw a few people wearing it. Looked well made to me, had a nice hand to it.

Cheers, guys. Will have to drop in the next time I am in London (which doesn't look like being until April...).

I have seen a number of their books last summer. Their current offerings are well made in a modern way. I have also heard very good things about their vintage stock.

I'm 6'1 and slim and would take a 38L off the rack. Generally speaking I need 2 meters for a solid color sportcoat and 2.5 meters for a patterned sportcoat. Trousers around 1.5 - 1.75 meters depending on the pattern.

Thank you. I came across about 2.25 yards of tweed and wondered if it would be enough. Sounds like it would be tough to get a sportcoat out of it, and I'm not sure that the pattern would make for very versatile pants.

But when in doubt, check with your tailor - which one should do anyway.

What are everyone's favourite books for summer weight jacketing? I'm trying to pick up something for the summer, was thinking maybe something from P&H Glorious Twelfth; at 11 oz it can pass for summer where I am, although I'd like to get something lighter than that.

I appreciate the advice in advance.
