I have seen only one in-person, and the quality was excellent. None of the designs are to my liking.

How many yards of cloth are necessary for a jacket? Pants?
Thoughts on Ariston fabrics would be appreciated. Frank has a few books and I'm thinking of a spring sc for next year, would like to order he fabric in advance...

I have seen a number of their books last summer. Their current offerings are well made in a modern way. I have also heard very good things about their vintage stock.

I'm 6'1 and slim and would take a 38L off the rack. Generally speaking I need 2 meters for a solid color sportcoat and 2.5 meters for a patterned sportcoat. Trousers around 1.5 - 1.75 meters depending on the pattern.
Thank you. I came across about 2.25 yards of tweed and wondered if it would be enough. Sounds like it would be tough to get a sportcoat out of it, and I'm not sure that the pattern would make for very versatile pants.
