Ticket pocket with hacking jacket?

I'm trying to decide if I should get a ticket pocket with hacking pockets. Supposedly a ticket pocket is classic with a hacking jacket, right? But I'm wondering if it is too over done now. Every jacket these days has a ticket pocket. I am less inclined to get a ticket pocket because it is in fashion (weird isn't it?).

It's a classic detail - I wouldn't worry about it though. I have a hacking jacket from the 70's that I picked up at a thrift shop. It's got the slanted ticket pocket. I have another jacket with just the two pockets, and it's much newer. Either way, I don't think you can go wrong.

I don't care about fashion... I like ticket pockets and they are useful... i put my card holder/money clip on them... or my mobile phone sometimes... they fit inside perfectly.

Ditto what everybody else said. I love the ticket pockets. It's the only pocket where I remove the stitching to open it up. Great place to put my keys, transit pass, to-do list, spare coins, etc.
