Hello,

New member here. I'm currently living in Hong Kong and just found this site. It seems that there are a lot of users here that either live in Hong Kong or have connections here. I was wondering if anyone has found any good thrift/consignment stores here in Hong Kong? I haven't really noticed any, but I imagine there at least have to be some consignment stores.

Thanks for any help!
Zae

Well according to the Salvation Army website there are several SA family stores in Hong Kong. I was mostly curious if it was worth it to make the trek out to one of these stores. I'll probably try to go to one and see what it is like.

o but why on earth wold you want a second hand shop in HK when there are any number of nasty cheap Asian tailors around the tourist haunts that would make you a cheap suit out of a hessian sack at the worst and some cheap woolen rag at the better end of their range. Available in 24 hours but don't stand in the rail while wearing it?

This really is disposable clothes at its height.
