I think the fat Dachsund mutt is cute as ****!

Note how "I don't like her" yet have literally dozens of photos of her and let all 70 pounds of her sit on my lap and fall asleep (she snores really loudly) while I watch tv... she's annoying though, seriously .

As a Korean, I find the presence of so many dogs in this food thread particularly disorienting.
Or maybe I should say: As a Korean (see what I did there), I find the presence of so many dogs in this food thread particularly disorienting (see what I did there).

Although in just several months he's grown into this pumpkin smashing monster:

I posted a cat on the last page, though perhaps everyone thought it was a caterpillar or chew toy.

Cats are a chew toy. For dogs.

So I think I just made my best batch of pierogi. Dough is great.

It really is amusing watching my roommate horribly horribly mangle eggs.

Not sure if she was trying to make an omelette or what but.... we have a stove with a huge burner, a setting is for "power boil" and it'll boil a pot of water for pasta in no time. Anyway, she threw some mushrooms in on that setting for a minute, they were barely cooked but brown because the heat is so high, then she puts the eggs in and I swear they were cooking for four or five minutes and clearly hard. Then she dropped in some cheese. It was all lulzy because she thinks she's a good cook. I mean, I'm not a good cook but I at least get how to cook stuff. I don't know what this post was about.

I dreamt about a giant 3-foot long porchetta sandwich in a baguette drenched in garlic butter last night... but only ate about half a foot of it before I woke up :(

nice grabs! of those, i've seen the locatelli (didn't like as much as i'd hoped) and the ducasse (or as it's referred to around here, the "grand liver"). the latter is encyclopedic. i find it4 most useful for prompting ideas of flavor combinations, but it's good stuff.
