We moved yesterday. We paid dudes and they did a great job for us, even gave us a peruvian bottle opener for buena suerte.

In the past ive self moved - did that **** myself, no issues. ?

Yep. Movers are worth every penny.

Its kind of likey drywall, I can do a little bit of it well, if I take my time. But if I am doing a lot of it, I'm going to get tired and end up doing a ****** job. People who do it every day are so much more efficient at it, its really something.

I used to move furniture. When we take breaks we sit on your couches and fart.

i like how your definition of "self-moving" is getting your friends to do unpaid labor

Technically it’s barter system, since these are favors being repaid. But this “unpaid labor” is probably going to cost me more than movers would now.

We had drywallers in last week to replace some bullshit paneling from 1962. Worth every dime.

I’m sitting in a camp chair drinking a cheap beer now. (There’s the makings of a country song there.) It’s been a rough day.

I probably did my landlord a favor since those runners are so terribly DIY finished (really bumpy poly job). Odds are one of those big REITs will buy it to rent out, anyway.

Agreed on moving and drywall. We had an interstate move go just fine for our furniture, but the car movers scratched it up.

Even if you were correct, it's still coming out of your security deposit.

This could go in either threak.... for almost exactly 26 months I've had a bun for my hair (not gonna call it a manbun). Only starting last week have I thought that maybe getting a brush would like dramatically reduce the discomfort. Man that was a life-changing decision.

More life changing than when you went from boxer briefs to g-strings?

As far as moving goes, if my life works out per plan, I'll be leaving my current abode in a coroner's wagon.
