**** this week is not going well at all.

I had tickets to go see Obama speak at a local high school tonight. I've been an avid Obama supporter since I first read his first book, about 3 years ago, before he was uber-famous. Although lately some of my politicial leanings have shifted slightly, I still support him, and even if I didn't, I'd want to go see him speak again (met him 2 times already, this would be my 4th event seeing him).
Well I just found out I have to prepare a presentation for a freakin customer to give tomorrow morning, and I'm gonna be here til about 7 tonight doing it (Obama speaks at 6).

right on red is a pretty american thing. actually, many countries have very differently shaped intersections - the whole left turn without a dedicated light is very american, too.
