This has got to be the most ridiculous justification I've ever heard to stay fat. Like an hour in the gym 4 days a week is going to make you go broke

Can't afford $50 bucks a month to prolong your life and look good? Better stop buying your steez then, cuz you can't afford it!

Going to the gym may take time, and time is money, but

it's pretty cheap to eat less food (doesn't take time either)

imho, health comes before clothing by a long shot.

You don't even need a gym to get fit; go for a run, it's free. There's so much you can do that doesn't cost much or is even free. He's just trying to justify being lazy by saying getting fit costs too much money. What he actually means is it's too much work.
