You have a point although I happen to think something like that should be cut right and fit perfectly otherwise it just looks like something that should be worn for industrial purposes.

The filson 256 bag is as unnatural a phenomenon as the bermuda triangle as I don't think I have ever seen anyone post a fit carrying one where it didn't look really good and elevate the fit. I can imagine lots of situations where it would be totally out of place and look bad, of course, I've just never seen it in reality.
