A new one for me.

A Girard-Perregaux R&D 01 Chronograph Monte Carlo 1983. Limited Edition of 250, released originally in 2009.

43mm (excluding crowns), and 14mm thick, it wears extremely comfortably on my 7.75" wrist. The case is designed by Luigi Macaluso, and features a reverse chronograph layout, with the chrono pushers and main crown on the left of the case, and the crown for rotating the internal bezel on the 4 o'clock point.

The watch features normal time functions, as well as a Day/Night indication at 3 o'clock, date at 6 o'clock, running seconds at 9 o'clock, chronograph hours at 12 o'clock. The seconds and minutes of the chronograph are represented by 2 separate center-attached hands - one in light blue, and the other in white with a light blue triangle tip.

The beautiful and thick Alligator strap is in black with contrast stitching, done (I believe) by Camille Fournet.

The watch in all of its glory, powered by the (hidden) cal. GP033C0:

Congrats; looks like a lot of fun. I didn't realise they were so big. I have a soft spot for GP for some reason. Enjoy!

@Mr. Moo - I also have a soft spot for GP. I've heard nothing but great things from owners and although we don't see much of them here, every time one shows up I find myself really really liking them. I think Belli has a very cool one too.

Congrats on something we don't often get the pleasure of seeing round here!

Very nice - congratulations!

Did somebody say GP?

Great images for this one!

GP brings frilly out of semi-retirement and lurker status...

New watch alert! VC Overseas with 3 straps!

Congrats Omar! The new VCO is one of the watches on my 'shortlist'. Initial impressions? Would also love to see more close-up pics!
