I get the impression from the +J collection it will look really good on you if you have a decent shoulder / waist drop and are fairly slim. While the Uniqlo U looks great on normal body types.

Dunno, I aint really slim anymore, haha. Tempted to as I'm starting work again next year and need a full closet of sleek business wear.

@cafedandy thanks for the pictures!

What are your impressions of the Military blouson? How did the olive color look in person? I'm tempted between the black and olive one. In the picture, the zipper teeth looks like it's made of plastic. Can you confirm?

I have a bunch of military style jackets, but I'm a sucker for them. That blouson and curved chino pants are the only things that really stood out to me.

The blouson felt like quite a substantial one, from down lining to stitching details, fabric is quite thick with good luster, too. They only had the black on display so I can only judge the olive by launch day. The zip teeth are metal, must be my phone camera quality and the lighting that gave such impression. Chino pants are the usual chino twill fabric but a bit thicker. I think they’re pretty solid choices. ?

My personal rule is that I must feel the Konmari “kyun!” spark-joy feeling when I put it on, so there shouldn’t be any pressure. Am a but worried about how the suit would fit me as I am more into the U side of silhouette, but will see.
Yea. Same here. But problem is we dont have Uniqlo at my home country so I need to order online and send most of the stuff back. Not a financial issue thanks to paypal refunded returns but kinda immoral to me.

After checking pics from Japan site I felt oversized shirts looked pretty good. Might order one in natural because it looks pretty unique and a black one because I dont have a black shirt. Also the sweater with zipper looks nice and my style.

Yea Uniqlo costs me about $60USD to ship a small order. Honestly though, seems like Uniqlo is one of those places where stuff fits me exactly how I want it. I always end up loosing out ordering online with other brands.

Looking forward to the oversized one as a winter option; hope its thicker than the U coat. Also, noticed there is a herringbone version on the japan website.
If it's same as the women's fabric that I saw on display, it's like a slightly thicker inline Uniqlo Wool Cashmere coat (this season's version is now a pencil cut than previous years). There's a nice luster to the navy color I saw in person. More Oversized cashmere blend chesterfield coat details here:

And for the Herringbone, too https://www.uniqlo.com/jp/ja/products/E432642-001/00?colorDisplayCode=69

Also minor thing, I just read the description on Women's shirts that it uses natural shell buttons, I'm assuming it's same as the mens.

So with the release coming in the next couple days, what are the pieces that people are interested in?

For me, I like the outerwear (chester coats, hybrid oversized parka, and hybrid oversized jacket). Other items on the list to check out are the shirts. Probably the belts as well.

I wish I have a use for the suits, but my work doesn't require one so likely gonna pass on them.

I want to update the slim +J suit I have but the dilemma is it will have the least use for me. But indeed looking forward to the shirt and belts.

Hah, I've sort of limited my interest to shirts and belts as well at this point. Both the mens oversized with the pocket and hidden BD as well as the plain womens oversized shirt are on my watchlist, if womens XL fits.
