Lovely. Is it green museum? How would you say the toebox feels compared to the U last? More roomy, more cramped, or about the same?

Yep green museum. From my recollection compared to the U last, I feel the SP last feels slightly more shaped through the waist, a bit lower instep, but toebox feels about the same, maybe tapers earlier. I'll have to try the two pairs on to be more sure; I'll add edits to the comments if I'm off.

Those look black on my screen. It's bloody difficult to get green museum to look green in photos. It is rather a striking shade, though. Congrats and enjoy.

The order was placed back in November, and delivery was quoted for February 16, so not actually bad for Vass.

These are on the Peter last. Its become my go to last with Vass as the instep is a little lower and I think it actually has a really underrated shape. I have shoes on F, U, P2 and Peter. While I really like F for oxfords, I think Peter is a much more interesting shape for most derbies.

I really love Vass shapes in grain, especially in darker browns. Beautiful textures
