Thanks fellas. Uniesse, I did not specify.

Planning my next museum calf. Anybody have pictures of grey museum made up? (Or just the leather?)

I'd like to see grey as well. I tried to get pictures of the grey leather prior to ordering my pair, but never got anywhere. Ended up with dark brown museum, should arrive next week (3 months wait now apparently).

I received my boots today. I cannot really were this pair till winter comes. It is very hot now in Hong Kong. 34C/93F.....

Fit is OK, but the first and second hook from the top almost fully close. What do you guys do in such a case? Tan pad?

Tongue pads may work but you will need it in a bigger size I suppose?

Brown kangaroo and black kangaroo with reverse black kangaroo.

Kangaroo is a highly underrated leather perhaps due to its visual subtlety and rareness.
I rate it above shell cordovan for rugged elegance. It's a resilient leather that you don't have to pamper but still looks exquisite in any situation.

Unlike the Italian processed kangaroo leather, this Australia tanned kangaroo is a little thicker, more resilient and from my point of view, more characterful.

I dont bite this statement.Secondly Kangaroo may be good for boots as they have pretty strong fibre mat structure and less prone than calf for tears.
Vass does not offer them for a reason, and feel that the leather is not up to the mark for shoes.

I think the lacing looks fine there. My Vass boots go almost all the way up the top. As long as they are comfortable all is good! Wear them well.
