I like this tune a lot - in fact I want to do if for a recital piece - but I don't know exactly what it means. What follows are the lyrics in French, and my best attempt at the translation. Please help, and then let's do yours (all languages welcome).

I don't understand what parts you still need help with. I speak French but it's apparently quite poor and the few lines I did try didn't sound very good in English, e.g.:

That a guy advertised that he vaut two [WTF does "vaut" mean?]

I don't know if this next love [probably really means affair]

Actually, Google Translate does a far better job that I could. So never mind. Doesn't GQGeek speak French? He lives in the Montreal Metro, doesn't he?

I think these are idiomatic. Something about being uselessly warned. I think it's the kind of thing I wouldn't really get if it even if it were the English equivalent...
