Quick sizing question. Do people take the same size in Loake's Capital and AS 109? Looking at a pair of Armfields, but don't want to pull the trigger. For reference, I am a 6F in Capital, with a good, comfortable fit.

Take the same size, it’s slightly more slim

Vintage Dacks. These were a thrift find. This is a great example of why I don't like book binder. You can see the creases. I used several rounds of Bick 4 and then finished with Venetian shoe cream.

The toe box area is more roomy than my matching pair in calf skin.

Just saw this thread and thought I'd contribute - Riccardo Bestetti, Novecento line on the Perfetta last with hidden seams are doing the heavy lifting in the black captoe department at present, though I have a G&G black Holden on order

AS 109 - UK7.5 (good fit on snug)
CJ 348 - UK8 (good fit)
