I can't honestly say. I have obviously signed myself up on the list, but cannot find any bottles in Cellar Tracker or in my consumption history. I must have had a bottle while out somewhere, so probably a PN, and liked it.

A colleague of mine decided to randomly open a bottle of '99 d'qyuem with me over the weekend. I love my friends.

Here's a link to some notes from berserkers.

It's a good wine, for it's style. It's a big wine, but it's not overblown like a lot of modern Napa cabs are. I generally prefer more elegant wines, but I liked the 2007 and I look forward to seeing how it develops. This is one of those wines that I buy more for guests who come over to my house, but I like to have a glass too. If that makes any sense. For reference, my favorite CA cabs are Ridge Montebello and Chateau Montelena. This is a bigger wine than those.

I found a charming wine, but not what I was expecting- in the hotel restaurant this morning at breakfast the foursome next to me had a bottle open and were nearly finished with it. 8:30 am, this was. I'm still on the lookout for a charming taster.

Progress- the local cava is much better than the local vino tinto.

Post 1000 on Benasque and cava! Tomorrow we head into the mountains for sunshine and the heights of the Pyrenees!

Anbody else grab this from WTSO a couple of days back?

Bodegas Y Vinedos del Jalon Las Pizarras Vinas Viejas 2005

Garnacha... 70-100 yr old vines, single vineyard.

I was concerned when they described it as "new world/modern" as I'm decidedly "old world" but at $19 a bottle I grabbed a couple.

I love it too. We recently opened an '01 that was great and still had potential.
